EVERY NIGHT SOMETHING AWFUL” (The Story of ENSA)

Delia Taylor makes a welcome return to take us for a trip down memory lane as we explore how ENSA was formed to raise moral in WW11

The WI is the largest voluntary women’s organization in the UK and exists to educate women to enable them to provide an effective role in the community, to expand their horizons and to develop and pass on important skills.

The Farningham Women’s Institute meets on the first Thursday of each month, except in May, when the meeting is on the following day due to the Village Hall being used as a Polling Station for elections.
