Halloween Magic @ Lullingstone World Garden

Halloween Magic – 28th October. 12 noon – 7pm

Join us for Halloween magic on the last day of the season; pumpkin carving, spooky house and garden tours – perfect for all the family. Tom will give garden tours at 1pm and dusk tour at 5pm, learn about the origins of pumpkins, colours and varieties and children can spot the Halloween tricks in eerie torchlight! Fancy dress is welcome – let’s celebrate the end of our season in style!

PLEASE NOTE: event access only via Lullingstone Villa through the village (Shoreham Road entrance & car park closed for Halloween)

The WI is the largest voluntary women’s organization in the UK and exists to educate women to enable them to provide an effective role in the community, to expand their horizons and to develop and pass on important skills.

The Farningham Women’s Institute meets on the first Thursday of each month, except in May, when the meeting is on the following day due to the Village Hall being used as a Polling Station for elections.

The Society was formed in 1985 by a small group of enthusiasts anxious to research and preserve the history of their locality. Its area of interest covers the ancient parishes of Eynsford (including Crockenhill), Farningham and Lullingstone, and also Maplescombe. Membership is open to anyone interested in the history of the area – not only those living there. The annual subscription is £10 (£15 for a family, or Life Membership for £100, one person and £150 for a couple).
